Please be aware that an algae bloom has been spotted on the lake.  It is currently unclear whether it poses any health risk as there are many varieties of algae.  Our laboratory has been contacted and testing is scheduled for Monday, July 21.  In the meantime, the beach will remain open, but please exercise caution and avoid disturbing or coming into contact with any algae blooms.  More information will be posted when the results of the testing are available.
