signatureFor the protection of the membership and the integrity of our voting process, each eligible member is required to complete a Signature Document so that their signature can be verified on official documents. Sessions have been scheduled to allow you to record your signature in time to vote at this year’s Annual Meeting. The process will take less than ten (10) minutes. If you cannot attend one of the scheduled meetings, please contact the Board secretary at (973) 846-4025 x500 to make alternate arrangements.

In order to participate in an official vote either in person or by proxy, all eligible members must complete a signature document. Signatures must be provided in the presence of an officer and be accompanied by a valid driver’s license or state ID card containing a photo and signature. A copy of the ID will be taken and stored with the signature document. Each member listed on the deed who wishes to vote must record their signature on the document.

These Signature Documents will be used to verify proxies, ballots and other legal documents relating to business between the Member and the Association. Please attend one of the sessions listed below to record your signature. Be sure to bring your driver’s license or state ID card. All sessions will be held at the FHP office.

The officers are merely collecting the signatures. In a contested election, an independent third party will be doing the verification.

Signature recording for voting purposes need to be verified by a notary. There is a conflict of interest with Officers being a witness for signature authentication.
