There will be a Q&A Session regarding Proposed Improvement Projects on May 10, 2014 at 4:00pm in the clubhouse immediately following the work weekend.

Over the years we’ve heard many people ask about various park improvements and upgrades. Currently, we are in the process of installing a new septic system and making minor restroom changes which are required to obtain our annual bathing license. This allows us to open the beach and permit swimming for the season. In addition, there are two projects scheduled:

  1. Picnic Area: This is the first phase in improving the overall look of the entire waterfront area. In this first step, we will remove the rock wall, expand the upper picnic area and install decorative natural stone retaining walls near the street. Pending contractor availability, we will attempt to complete this project before the summer beach season. If not, it will be postponed until the fall after the beach is closed.
  2. Clubhouse Restrooms: The restrooms will be reduced in size and renovated to provide clean, modern facilities. This project will be scheduled sometime in the fall after the beach is closed.

Combined, these projects cost $30,000 and are included in the 2014 budget. We would also like your feedback on prioritizing future projects that will be completed as the budget allows. Information on some of these projects will be presented as well. Please join us at the Q&A session to review plans, see photos of similar work and ask any questions you may have.
