The Board would like to thank everyone that participated during the last work weekend.  A tremendous amount of work was completed.  Significant savings were achieved by completing work ourselves that would have otherwise required contractors.  Some of the accomplishments include:

  • Sanding and sealing the swimming platform
  • Painting the railings and the wall by the beach
  • Installation of new ropes and floats in the swimming area
  • A new drain to prevent erosion of the beach
  • Construction of a “boardwalk” at the entrance to replace the cracking blacktop
  • Weather treatment of benches and picnic tables
  • Removal of dead trees and clearing of poison ivy around the lake
  • The usual leaf and trash cleanup
